You know you're a stay at home Mom with no one to talk to when you start having a conversation with yourself - AND YOU HAVE A GUEST OVER.
Today my friend came over and we were talking on the couch when I started to have a conversation with myself. I can't remember what it was about, but I think I was trying to remember something correctly so I was asking myself "No. That can't be it. Can it? I don't know...maybe." etc. etc. I shortly realized what I was doing and pointed it out to her. She laughed and said she had just noticed the same thing.
Oh well.

a new title
Today was gloriously mild out. I thought I would be adventuresome and take Noah out for a walk in the stroller.
Well. Just because it's nice out, does not mean it's suitable for walking with a stroller. The sidewalks are all covered in bumpy, chunks of ice - either that or puddles the size of Lake Ontario. Or flowing rivers. After less than 30 seconds of baby whiplash for Noah I turned around and went back in to our apartment.
I was sad. I'm a bit of a hermit these days with the bad weather, bad sidewalks and no car.
Oh well. The warm weather, clear sidewalks and a freed up car will all soon (?) avail themselves to me and I shall no longer be Vanessa Strickland, Mother of one and Hermit Extraordinaire.
