three in november

blaise's face kills me.
but i finally finished crocheting his blanket.

i think he quite likes it.

and the reality behind these pictures?
i was hoping blaise wouldn't spit up all over everything. {he saved it for the second i picked him up afterward.}
i also decided that if i couldn't get a non-crying shot of blaise, then i'd just tell noah and jude to pretend they were crying too. {blaise has been a bit fussier as of late.} turns out that he was more than happy to oblige me with some shots of him and his big brothers {he absolutely adores them}.

last night was a bit brutal and the sleep deprivation is catching up to me as i {apparently} was frantically searching through our sheets and prodding jamie in attempt to find blaise {who has been sleeping in the pack 'n play now for a few days - he outgrew "the box" and i wanted my bed back}. whenever i start "being crazy" is when i know i need more sleep. oh sleep. i miss you.

but life goes on and we're getting ready to say good-bye to my parents who leave tomorrow night to fly back to canada. we'll miss them a lot. and we'll have to adjust to only having one iPad around for the boys to play with {this generation. psh!}.

happy weekend to you!

i got this idea from steph who takes pictures of her four kids on the fourth of every month.

  2. When I had my first baby, I punched my husband in the arm one night because I was mad at him for hiding the baby from me. Ahhhh, sleep deprivation...
    LOVE Blaise's hair! He is such a cutie! He obviously takes after his big brothers :)

  3. The blanket is perfect. And the boys are adorable. Also, if I were there I would be hanging out with those boys while you were sleeping in another room... I hope you get some much needed sleep friend. Praying for you, and the family. Much Love.

    1. Thanks, Bekki. Wish you were here too. But not so I could sleep - I'm too social to not hang out with you! :)

  4. Those pictures are great - isn't it nice when you can get all the kids to cooperate with the shot you have in mind??
    I just came across your blog - it's fantastic.

  5. hahaha. I love those pics. And I'm super impressed by your crocheting skills. Blaise is adorable. I LOVE the 3 of them together. I love how different they are from one another. And how they're so obviously brothers at the same time.
    I hope you're able to sleep while Blaise is sleeping. I'm sorry your folks are gone. I'm sure it was great having them there, despite playing hostess. How long with Jamie be off work still with ya? Love ya friend.
