a bit sick and feverish
saying YES to snacking and why do we need three square meals a day anyway?
cuddling and nursing babies back to longer naps
watching movies {Star Wars!} and reading books
doing a bit of packing
cleaning
sorting
purging
solo parenting
looking at houses online
listening to countless facts and stories about Star Wars
hanging laundry
chugging water and occasionally popping Tylenol to combat a nagging headache
today we are taking it easy. because all rules go out the window when some of us are sick and there's only one parent.
today I am leaning into Jesus to be more than what I need.
Aww, I'll be praying for you all today! and the kids are adorable as usual! xo Mom
ReplyDeletePraying for strength. xo You make me want to have more babies;)
ReplyDeleteAw V thanks for posting in spite of sickness and headaches. I love the top view of Noah's arm around Jude. What a couple of sweeties :) heart melting!
ReplyDeleteI know. I died when I saw them cuddling on the couch together.
Deletepraying for sure! so sorry you're on your own with a house full of sickies! love you, friend.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kel. It's okay. Jude slept a lot. I finished off chocolate ice cream with Noah as we sat at the dinner table and chatted while Blaise and Jude were already in bed. 'Twas a good day.
DeleteVanessa - love this post. A little piece of your life.
ReplyDeleteAlso: so clever how you've tied Blaise into that chair. Brilliant!
Thanks, Meliss. Although I can't take credit for the chair wrap, it is quite brilliant.
Deletehey V. hang in there. hope little Jude feels better tomorrow. I continue to be inspired by your flexibility in life and faith in God. love you xo
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tam. Yeah, I hope his fever breaks. It was inching up by late afternoon/evening and he was in bed by 5:30 tonight. So we'll see how he's doing tomorrow.
