It sucks when you get the brunt of someone's frustration. It sucks when you don't know how to help someone who's grieving. It sucks when you feel like a horrible daughter. It sucks.
Vanessa; Please remember that different people grieve in different ways. Some people will reminice, some will cry, some will joke, some will be silent and withdrawn. I've been through it, less than five years ago, when my grandfather died. A man that I grew up around, respected, and, now more than ever, admire.
My condolences to you and your family. May the peace of God rule in your hearts. May the Divine Comforter be your solace in these difficult moments.
And don't be afraid to remember, with love, those dearly departed. In so doing, we honour their memories and respect their persons.
