bound and gagged

I have so much that I want to write and say, but right now is just not the best time.

Change is hard.
And slow.

My first inclination is to just shout it to the world, throw it in your face, talk non-stop about it until it finally sinks in for you, but I think {and so I've been told} that this is perhaps not the most effective way to facilitate change in others.

So I need to

go

s l o w.

And be gentle.

Sometimes it's hard to remember where you used to be when where you are seems like all you've ever known.

Sometimes I suck at showing grace.

Sorry for the totally and completely vague blog post. I hate it when others do it and here I sit, doing it myself. Just know there is more to come.

  1. I hope writing this little bit helped you to take a deep breath and relax a little.

  2. Thanks MomS. It's not so much a stressed out feeling as it is a torn and yearning feeling to change something small to something bigger and with more scope.
Writing it out was somewhat cathartic so yes, helpful.

  3. of course I'm curious as to the specifics but I find the vagueness quite clear for showing the difficulties of learning something for yourself and wanting to teach others but sanctification or whatever the process can be slow and we need to be patient in ourselves and others for sure. Read: Hard! This reminds me of a post I've been wanting to write called "Danger: People in process" stay tuned. Hehe!
